It's lovely to see that you're all so open and that you've found this place to share the things you need to others who can empathise. It makes one feel far less 'Freaky' making this kind of discovery!
I was disappointed, however, to see no post for the Freaky Eaters section - where are you all? I've recently applied to take part in the programme and visited this website in order to find out what methods Benjamin employs when 'unfreakying' the BBC show's candidates. It appears that the main body of work involves getting in touch with one's feelings - I regard this as a slight problem as I don't believe I have any.
Forgive me for being blunt, but although I'm aware that my eating problems stem from anxiety issues, I have trouble seeing how transformation into a wailing women is going to get me eating carrots! Can anyone who's been through the process explain a little about how it works, please? I'm still not sure whether to go through with the ritual humiliation of the programme but don't have any idea how else I can get around my lifetime habit of eating like a crazy person. I'm now absolutley certain that I don't want to die soon but feel my eating habits are taking that choice away from me. Can anyone help?
