I can't seem to control my spending, even when I have hardly any money to my name I seem to find myself going into my overdraft for a little thing and then another little thing etc (which we all know adds up)...I have no will power.

Is Cold Turkey the answer, do you think? It seems to be an essential part of the Spendaholics programme and I wondered whether it would work for me. It is impossible to say how much a week I spend because it varies, or I'm too nervous to work it out - but thought if I literally did it on bare minimum.

Petrol and a fiver? How can I work it out?

When I was talking to my friend about this, their answer was just to not take money out with me...could it be that simple....?!!

I'd say the problem with it is (without their help) is you could probably do it easy for a week but then what? (i've been thinking about this too!) I think what's most helpful from the show is the honest and realistic budget they give you! and that's the bit i find hard to do!

(so any tips welcome!) ;)

Anyway good luck if you decide to try it! i think i could go a week without spending hardly anything if i really wanted to! but by myself would chose when to start (i.e. a week with nothing on)!!
