Meg, there is no denying that life can be a real bitch. You feel down, miserable, ugly but most of all you feel alone. Please be aware that if YOU choose, it can be otherwise- Life can also be so much fun and laughter :P . There is a world full of people out there (all with their own problems in many varying degree) just waiting to meet you. So you have stuffed up with some friends, there are many more around the next corner if YOU choose to take the chance of getting to know them.

Maybe you think that ending everything will be closure for you, whilst leaving your family & friends feeling guilty? I think the best way to make them feel guilty is by proving them wrong about you, make them feel guilty because they doubted you! Life is there for living if you give it a chance, there is no second chance.

Emergency services sounds very dramatic but visiting your family doctor can be a real help. Often 'life's real downers' are an inbalance of chemicals in the head. These can be adjusted easily with a tablet, I take mine everyday and it makes me feel much, much better. Modern anti-depressants have come a long way from the typical sterotype associated with them.

See your doctor and talk to a councillor before you take any other action. Hey if it does not work you have lost nothing, you are only back to this point.

You'll have different feelings about yourself after a bit of medication. You'll be able to see some solutions to some of your problems that just won't go away right now.

So glad you have a doctor's appointment. Thanks for letting us know how you are doing...and that you are making strides toward a better outlook on yourself and your future.

Realizing you need help to handle an extremely difficult life, and having the COURAGE to go and get that help you need, is a solid proof of you being OPPOSITE to ìcrazyî.

As long as you can get better, leave those ignorant people out of your concern. As I have asked you before: ì If you donít mind Ö, why do you mind Ö?î You have to treat yourself as the center of you world. Because you are.

It will not be just a little pill, it is a way to find yourself, the original, real YOU. And talking to us is also part of that process. Do it slowly, but definitely keep going. We are here with you.

Thanks for letting us know your situation. How's life now? Glad you have parents who cared and did something...many don't. Best wishes, and thanks again. Are you back in school, then?

Maybe in time when you feel your life is worth living again, you may forgive your parents. They don't want to lose you.

Have a look at www.coping.org. I have found it really useful in untangling a lot of things. There are some really useful exerises on there.

Hang on in there.

Enjoy your freedom now you're out of hospital.

Time to recover and take control of your own destiny.

All the best.

Hi Meg,
It's been over a month now, so we're wondering how you are doing?
What's new in your life? What's good in your life? What's up?
