Sometimes when its hard to communicate your emotions face to face it is helpful to write them down. There is a format used for this that is often used in relationshipos, which hopefully allows more communication than arguing.

Roughly speaking it goes like this: you write down something like, ìwhen you do so and so, I feel like such and suchî. You try to find five things to say that are positive and five that are negative. At the end you say ìand I donít need you to change.î The point is to be able to communicate how you feel without being judgmental about another personís behaviour. You can read more about this kind of thing in many books on relationships such as ìMen are from Mars, Women are from Venusî.

Give it a go and tell me how you get on.
