I went to an orthopedic doc and was diagnosed with a stress fracture in my ankle from rolling my ankle while running in flip-flops, she put me in a boot. I've been in that for almost a week now and now my mom thinks i have a heel spur, is that possible and what is a heel spur? thanks

Go back to your doctor to be re-examined. Possibly you may need a cast. A stress fracture is very painful. Stay off of your foot if possible and keep it elevated for awhile. I think the boot is more painful than the fracture and is awkward to walk in, don't you?
