I just thought I'd say that I really like Benjamin's monthly slot in Psychologies magazine, so much so that it's usually the first part that I go to to read, followed by some of the other regular columns. I think it's great that there is such an insight into psychotherapy in a popular magazine and this must only be a good thing in terms of chipping away at some of the stigma which surrounds 'mental health issues' in society. Anyway, I am generally alarmed that pretty much every month I can somehow relate to the woman in the 'session' and somehow recognise the themes which Benjamin picks up in myself. Unfortunately this means that I'm sure that Benjamin would have his work cut out if I ever went to see him and am left doubting if my 'issues' could possibly be narrowed down quite as swiftly as Benamin seems to manage it! Anyway I guess I would be interested to know what others think of the column if they have read it and if they have similar views or not.
